Anything that triggers you, your feelings, your state of being, is something you need to look at with a magnifying glass.
I am talking to you, about reactions to unimportant things. Not about responses to boundaries being broken by others. Your reactive nature over things people say, opinions of events, opinions on anything, that make your heart race and stir anger within you. All of the events and words that don’t require a reaction. All those are showing you how you have some deep work and healing to get into.
A person who is grounded, who can manage and control their emotions, over any situation that might be uncomfortable, have not always been that way. If you are in a place of self love, forgiveness, understanding, peace and love. A random situation, or even a situation that you are confronted with that makes you uncomfortable or upsets you will not need your reaction. The person who can stay calm over ignorant comments, rude and unthoughtful remarks, will not react. They will asses the situation and know there is no need for a response. They are comfortable being wrong for the sake of saving energy and time.
A perfect example, I am a divorced mother of two, from an emotionally abusive ex husband. He is still narcissistic and an energy vampire. Self absorbed and selfish. He still finds ways to try to trigger my need to be right, my need to defend my beliefs. But as a healer, a reiki practitioner a light worker. I have been through an incredible amount of darkness, sadness and time alone dancing with my shadows. I have understood that his version of me is more of a reflection of him than anything else. My peace now is more important than making him (or anyone) try to see me or understand me.
As I write this I am clear that if he or anyone associated with him see my words they will label them as direct insults. But I assure you they are not, they are observations and clear cut facts. I am aware when I am wrong, when I make mistakes, when I am hurtful. I am aware and I am humbled to know when I need to apologize and rectify my behavior and dive deeper into healing.
I was an emotionally unavailable human for a long time. I was insecure, self sabotaging, operating from a place of fear and loneliness. I questioned if I was worthy of love and if anyone would ever love me for who I was. So I settled, for partners, friends, life choices, you name it I just took what I could get. I put up with holes in walls and broken promises. I looked at my life as a “well maybe this is the best that could be for me.” It was not until the time when I saw it for myself, when I really started listening to my guides. It was not until then that I started loving myself a little more. Each passing day I walked taller and left those who did not want to see me for my growth, my strength and my love, I left them behind.
You see, we all have experienced traumas, especially in our childhood. We all have been disappointed by our parents, ignored, felt unloved and have been bruised. Our friends growing up have left us, betrayed us and we have all been heartbroken by the one true love we though would be our forever. We have formed attachments to many things we just should of loved a little instead of rooted into. Because of this, and all that has followed after our childhood, as adults we owe to ourselves and our people to heal from it by facing it head on. We owe ourselves peace and true love.
It’s not easy being a grown up, post any kind of trauma. But facing it, is better than loosing our temper at a parking lot because someone “took” the parking space we had our blinker on for. It’s not! So if this is triggering you, if you are feeling attacked by what you are reading. GOOD! Means you’re at the right place at the right time and you need to seek the help to save yourself and the world.
My boys are in counseling, they meditate, and practice self healing reiki ( as much of this as their short attention spans will allow them.). I will raise emotionally available and responsible men! Because life is hard, but it’s better when we have the right tools for copping and for loving.
Like always. I recommend reiki, intuitive guidance, chakra balancing, EMDR therapy and a good yoga instructor. Self care and self love increases our vibrations and there is no better way to live than in unconditional love!
